At this year’s Backstop User Conference on June 6-7, we’ll be tackling the top issues and opportunities of today. And we don’t shy away from hot topics. Our panel addressing the challenges women in leading industries face promises to be one of the most compelling events on the agenda.
The concept spawned from a successful event we hosted in New York City with a similar topic, "Women Supporting Women in Financial Services: Let's Lean In Together". So successful, we felt this was a session that deserved a larger audience. We brought it to our User Conference knowing that such a hot button subject will bring about an excellent discussion.
Scheduled for the first day of the conference, and titled “The State of Women in the Financial Services Industry: Let's Have An Open, Honest Dialogue,” the discussion will feature a group of accomplished, impressive women with a range of leadership and knowledge. Panelists will discuss their own experiences, how they surmounted challenges, what changes may be needed. We'll also address topics such as:
- Creating an environment comfortable for ALL
- How to be an effective male ally or mentor
- How to be a bold woman in the workplace
