Backstop Is A Finalist For The 2017 ITA CityLights Lighthouse Award!

Our ITA CityLIGHTS nomination puts us in truly exceptional company.

The Illinois technology community is filled with impressive people and outstanding organizations. Each year, the Illinois Technology Association's CityLIGHTS Awards gives us the invaluable opportunity to gather together and celebrate those that have made truly exceptional strides.

Now in its 18th year, the ITA's CityLIGHTS Awards have consistently predicted the homegrown innovators and disputers who have gone on to national and international prominence. It's a true testament to the caliber of the thriving Illinois tech community.

That's why we're extremely proud to announce that we've been nominated for this year's CityLIGHTS Lighthouse Award.

According to the ITA website, the Lighthouse Award is presented to "the growth-stage (more than $25 million in revenue) company that, through innovation in products, services, or business approach, has grown to become a serious competitor in the marketplace."

In our submission for the award, we highlighted a few of the accomplishments we're most proud of in 2016. Those include the addition of 99 new clients; the release of 33 new product features; a client retention rate of over 97%; and our ability to maintain a leadership role in the alternative investment industry, while staying on top of industry needs and adapting agilely to serve our clients better.

This nomination puts us in some very impressive company. We want to offer our sincerest congratulations to our co-nominees for the Lighthouse Award: Maven Wave Partners, SMS Assist, Cleverbridge, and Sprout Social. Best of luck!

The CityLights Awards ceremony will be held September 14th, 2017. No matter which nominee takes home the trophy, we already feel like winners.
